Gears is an Item in Ratigan's Villain deck. Once played, it can be discarded to decrease the Cost of one other Item.
Clarifications[]
- Card Costs cannot be reduced below zero.
- Multiple Gears may be discarded to reduce the Cost of the same single Item. For example, when playing The Robot Queen, Ratigan could discard two copies of Gears he has in play to reduce its Cost to 9 Power.
Strategy[]
Almost never discard fodder. If you have these in your hand, play them. They make it much easier to play The Robot Queen, and once that's played, a Gears can let you play a Marvelous Trap for free.
