Genie is a Hero in Jafar's Fate deck. He is part of Jafar's win condition, and must be hypnotized for Jafar's objective to be completed.
Clarifications[]
- If you Hypnotize the Genie before playing the Magic Lamp, he will be replayed as a Hero when Magic Lamp is played, and you will need to Hypnotize him again.
Strategy[]
Similar to Peter Pan in that he needs to be defeated as part of Jafar's win condition, but unlike Captain Hook's nemesis, Genie is actually really good to bring out early. At 6 Strength, he's quite hard to take out, and if the Magic Lamp hasn't been played yet, Jafar must choose between leaving actions covered at Genie's location, or having to defeat the Genie twice. However, Wishes should only be attached to Genie after the Magic Lamp is played, otherwise they will be discarded when it is.
