King Richard is a Hero in Prince John's Fate deck.

King Richard does not prevent Prince John from playing Fate Effects against other players.

Strategy[]

A very powerful Hero. While he prevents Prince John from playing any Effects, the most important are Beautiful, Lovely Taxes and Imprison, meaning Prince John's Power gaining is hampered, and King Richard cannot be moved to a less cumbersome location. A very poor target for Steal from the Rich, as Prince John will want to Vanquish him as soon as possible. He also cannot be Intimidated or Trapped, meaning Prince John will have to be in Nottingham to deal with King Richard.
