Knowledge and Wisdom is an Effect in Madam Mim's Fate deck.

Strategy[]

Given that this makes up half of Madam Mim's Fate deck, you often won't have a choice in playing this. If it's paired with a unique Effect, the other option will usually be the way to go. However, this card is not useless; moving Merlins out of Dueling Ground is the only way to cover her top row actions, and also prevents the "machine gun" strategy of defeating every Merlin in one go - since new Merlins are played to Dueling Ground, if a Merlin is defeated elsewhere, there's no chain reaction. In general, The Woods is probably the best spot to put a Merlin, making that Fate location less desirable, and also putting him farthest away from Dueling Ground, but if Madam Mim is currently there, Madam Mim's Cottage and The Swamp are also acceptable.

The one issue with this card is you're forced to move a Merlin. Late-game, when you've got the last Merlin in a spot where she can't immediately kill him, pulling this can unfortunately help her, and is a risk to be considered.
