- This is not triggered by non-Vanquish defeats, such as via Jafar's A Snake, Am I?
Strategy[]
Largely discard fodder. Fairly easy to trigger, but often you won't have any non-Trapped Heroes in your Realm. Remember that it does say "may", which means you can play it even if you have nothing to Trap. Hold on to it if Fairy Godmother or Gus are present and you know your opponent needs to kill someone.
- Captain Hook/Dr. Facilier/Hades/King Candy/Oogie Boogie/Prince John/Scar - can only Vanquish to defeat
- Cruella De Vil/Mother Gothel/Yzma - have defeating Conditions that trigger when you play Midnight, but otherwise can only Vanquish
- Syndrome - has a defeating Condition that triggers off of Midnight or You Little Thief!, but otherwise can only Vanquish
- Gaston/Horned King/Jafar/Lotso/Madam Mim/Maleficent/Pete/Queen of Hearts/Ratigan/Shere Khan - have non-Vanquish defeat options
- Evil Queen/Ursula - cannot Vanquish
