Clarifications

• This card does not prevent Mother Gothel from losing Trust if it is played while Rapunzel is at Corona. In other words, Mother Gothel will lose Trust at the end of her turn if Rapunzel is at Corona, regardless of whether or not she "would move."

Strategy

A niche card. Mother Gothel is usually strapped for Power and often needs to Fate rather than play two cards, and there's usually something better to play, such as Patchy or Sideburns to send Rapunzel back to her Tower, a key Item, Revenge, etc. Best used to hold Rapunzel in place to have a better next turn, such as needing to Fate but not wanting the Hair Brush to get out of position, or needing to combo two cards together but having to move out of a location with two Play a Card actions, or wanting to set up an optimal I Love You Most after moving Rapunzel back to her Tower. In a pinch, this can also keep Rapunzel from sliding into Corona (or Pascal) if you're absolutely desperate and have no way to actually move her. However, all of these uses are vulnerable to Floating Lights, so be cognizant of that. Outside of these situations, this card is largely discard fodder.
