Text	During their turn, if another player discards one or more cards, you may play Not a Sidekick. Draw cards from your Villain deck equal to the number of cards discarded.

Not a Sidekick is a Condition in Syndrome's Villain deck.

Clarifications

• This Condition is only triggered by players discarding cards from their hand, mostly via the Discard Cards action.
• The cards do not have to be discarded all at once. However, if you wait for a second instance of discarding (such as Madam Mim playing Battle of Wits, then later taking the Discard Cards action) you may miss your chance to play this.
• Playing an Effect does not count as discarding it from your hand, even though it is put in the discard pile immediately after it is played.

Strategy

Possibly the best overall Condition Syndrome has, letting him speed through his deck. The only reason to ever discard this is if you've covered your opponent's Discard Cards locations. Every Villain needs to discard, but be on the lookout for some special cases:

• Captain Hook if he visits Tick Tock's location
• Jafar discarding from a larger hand size with Scarab Pendant
• Madam Mim discarding with Battle of Wits
• Evil Queen/Gaston/Horned King/King Candy/Oogie Boogie/Lady Tremaine/Ratigan/Yzma - all have Effects or other abilities that draw them past the normal hand size
