The Black Cauldron is a Relic in Horned King's Villain deck. Rather than starting off in his deck, it is represented by a two-sided tile that begins the game set aside. During the game, the Horned King must claim The Black Cauldron, placing it above his Villain portrait. It is part of his win condition, being the way he puts Cauldron Born into play.

Strategy

You want to claim and flip this over as quickly as possible, using whatever method is available. If Gurgi's Sacrifice is played, you don't want this to discard more than one Cauldron Born, so always make sure you have an open Ancient Soldiers to visit or Our Hour Has Arrived in hand if that card hasn't gone by yet.
