- The King does not affect the Cost of Card Guards revealed by Take the Shot.
Strategy[]
Great if you can play him early, and if you can, he should be played before any Card Guards. Pays for himself after you've played two Card Guards. If he shows up at the bottom of your deck, he's pretty lackluster, and usually discard fodder, unless you really need to Vanquish a Hero.
