Text	During their turn, if another player targets you with a Fate action, you may play Vicious Practical Jokes. Of the two Fate cards chosen, you pick which card is played and where.

Vicious Practical Jokes is a Condition in Lady Tremaine's Villain deck.

Clarifications

• This must be played before the Fate cards are revealed.
• You may choose a card that cannot be played; in this case, both cards are discarded with no effect.
• If you choose an Effect, the Fating player resolves it.
• If you choose a Hero with an on-play Ability, you choose their location, but the Fating player otherwise resolves their Ability.
• This cannot override The Prince's must-play Ability, nor the location restrictions on The Prince and the Glass Slippers, nor Ball Gown Cinderella needing to be played to Cinderella's location. It also cannot play Heroes to The Ballroom that are not allowed there.

Strategy

Arguably the strongest card in Lady Tremaine's (or any Villain's) deck. This usually lets you fully nullify a Fate taken against you, or even just lets you dodge the more severe cards in your Fate deck. The only reason to ever discard this is if you have both copies in hand and you're still digging for your pieces. Limiting yourself to essentially a 3-card hand is worth it for the protection this gives. Even better when combined with I Never Go Back on My Word.
