Who's Super Now? is a Condition in Syndrome's Villain deck.
Clarifications[]
- This gives you Power based on the Cost of the card played through the Play a Card action. For example, if Yzma plays A Cruel Irony, you only receive 1 Power, regardless of the second card she plays.
- This cares about the current Cost of the card, not the printed Cost. For example, if Hades plays Arges at Panic's location, you only receive 2 Power. However, if Tiana forced Dr. Facilier to pay 1 extra Power for Cane, you would receive 4 Power.
- An opponent playing multiple cards on the same action, such as Pete playing multiple Bandits, does not net you more Power - it is the Cost that matters, not the Power spent.
- Playing cards other than through the Play a Card action, such as Cruella De Vil using Telephone, does not trigger this.
Strategy[]
A great Condition, as most Villains are going to be playing a card every turn. This is worth it even if you only get 1 Power, and getting off both copies of this can ensure that Syndrome never has to worry about Power for the entire game.
Of your possible opponents:
- Captain Hook/Gaston/Hades/Jafar/King Candy/Lady Tremaine/Madam Mim/Oogie Boogie/Shere Khan/Ursula - has one or more cards that cost 4 or more Power and the Cost can't be reduced
- Lotso/Queen of Hearts - has a card that costs 4 or more Power but playing it usually wins them the game
- Cruella De Vil/Dr. Facilier/King Candy/Lotso/Mother Gothel/Pete/Queen of Hearts/Ratigan/Yzma - has cards costing 3 Power whose Cost can't be reduced
- Hades/Horned King/Maleficent/Prince John/Ratigan/Shere Khan - has cards costing 3 Power but their Cost can be reduced
- Evil Queen/Scar - have no cards costing more than 2 Power
King Candy has a card whose Cost can be between 1 and 6 Power, but cannot be played by a Play a Card action.
